where you know you wont have a problem surviving horde night. My recommendation is to create something that is purely utilitarian. 1) no weak-point door needed and 2) jumping into and out of the base is fun. and built a ramp to minibike jump over the perimeter. Used a concrete 50 pillar perimeter around a PassNGas. I wanted something that was horde proof but didn't require extensive digging/building. The most recent creation I have is a forward operating base. you can't see any defenses just looking at it.

I have about 5 different locations that are horde-level safe. Think about what you want to level (riffles, shotguns, archery, melee) and design accordingly.ĭay 270. You get hundreds of presents all wrapped up in carnage and you get massive XP for each unwrapping. Horde nights should really be viewed as XP leveling loot-fests. Where you stand during the horde is the most important part of your base design. Know that it just takes one of your friends to go off to another area and zombies will follow and start beating up less fortified areas of your base. Design the place where you're going to stand and fight and then funnel the zombies to you put your strongest defense there. With that in mind, design your base based on WHERE YOU (and your friends) WANT TO BE during the horde.

Their AI is especially simple and they can perceive obstacles and will avoid them, but that perception is pretty close-sighted. When designing a base, know that zombies always try to path to you (or other players). I also prefer to design my bases in such a way that I can loot zombies throughout the horde because you loose so much loot if you wait until morning. I focus on designs that make reduce the post-horde maintenance because it can be such a time-sink. All bases will require maintenance as you go through hordes.
